Teaching Nations to Pray with Power
Teach us to Pray is a project of Dayne Massey Ministries that began in January of 2021. In May of 2020 the Lord directed us to put together a book on the subject of prayer, teaching the church in other nations to pray with power and authority. Much of the believers that exist in nations that are hostile to the gospel are in infant stages. Many of them that find themselves leading groups of converts have themselves only been born again for a short time. Our desire is to get material into their hands that will equip them to pray, disciple and evangelize with great power, just like the early church did in the book of Acts.
The book Stand Right and Pray teaches a believer how to begin and continue in a powerful prayer life, from a new covenant perspective, and from the position of right standing with the Father that we have in Jesus. Our goal is to get this book translated, edited, printed and smuggled into nations where Christianity is persecuted, and where believers need to be trained to have a life-transforming, nation-shaking life of prayer.
Teach Us To Pray Persian/Farci Project
Our first language endeavor for Stand Right and Pray will be the Farci language, spoken mostly by over 100 million people in Iran, Afghanistan, and in Tajikistan. These countries are completely closed to the Gospel. No form of Christian witness is allowed, and Muslim converts to Christianity are mercilessly persecuted. Few foreigners and virtually no Christians are allowed to enter Iran. Consequently, there are few Christians among the Iranian Arabs. Very little Christian materials are available, and prayer and intercession, along with materials to equip believers, are the keys to breaking bondages in their lives so they will be open to the message of the Gospel.
Teach Us To Pray Armenian Project
The Armenian language is spoken by over 6.7 million people. Armenia is the oldest Christian nation in the Middle East area and is strategically located in the center of Muslim nations where Christianity is heavily persecuted. The Armenian believers have an intense desire to reach their Muslim neighbors, and fervently pray for them continually. Stand Right and Pray will help to equip them to reach out to these neighboring countries and tear down Islamic strongholds in prayer.
Teach Us To Pray Arabic Project
Arabic, and it's different Arabic dialects, are spoken by around 422 million people, making it one of the five most spoken languages in the world. All nations where Arabic is spoken are exceedingly ripe for harvest! Arab believers need to learn how to pray for their nation with power and authority. They need to learn how to pray from the believer's position of righteousness that is given to us in Christ. They are already a praying people, but we all know that pray amiss. We also know, that even among Christians, prayer alone is of no value unless it is based on the Word of God. The book Stand Right and Pray will teach these Arab believers to stand in the face of evil and tear down walls that are trying to hold back power evangelism.
Teach Us To Pray Turkish Project
Over 60 million people speak Turkish in the nation of Turkey. Unlike many other Muslim nations, Turkey does not operate under Islamic law, but is rather a republic modeled after the Swiss and French legal systems. Although Turks of Turkey do have Christian resources (both the Bible and the Jesus film have been translated into Turkish) available to them in their language and missions agencies that have worked among them, they remain strongly Muslim. Prayer alone has the power to break through the strongholds of Islam. The book Stand Right and Pray will be a tool to help the believers of Turkey learn to pray effectively for their nation.
Teach Us To Pray Russian Project
Over 135 million people speak the Russian language in 110 different nations of the world. Once Stand Right and Pray is ready in the Russian language, we desire to travel into Russian speaking areas and teach seminars on prayer. Dayne and Lisa were in Russia in 2009 and Dayne attended a language school to learn the Russian language. At that time they believed that they would one day extend ministry into Russia. Stand Right and Pray being translated into Russian, along with their previous plan for the book The Gospel of Peace, is one of the fulfillments of that vision from 2009.
Teach Us To Pray Western Armenian Lebanon/Syria Project
Approximately 400,000 of the people that reside in Lebanon and Syria are Western Armenian speaking people. In over a decade of having great relations with Armenians, we have found that they play a critical role in reaching Muslim nations. Getting Stand Right and Pray into their hands will help equip them to take a powerful place of prayer for the nations that they reside in.
Teach Us To Pray English Project
We believe people in English speaking nations also need to learn how to effectively pray for their nation, and the nations of the world. 1.27 billion people speak English fluently as their native tongue, or as a second language. The Trinity Broadcasting Network has a publishing arm called Trilogy Publishing, and they have agreed to publish Stand Right and Pray. The book will be available in printed form, along with the digital version in Kindle format on Amazon and on Barnes and Noble in the Nook format. We are thankful for Trilogy's desire to publish our book!
